New recipe ideas you should try in February

I love food and I love cooking, but I’m no good at writing recipe ideas and blogs – I never follow measurements and instructions very well. If I have my own recipe ideas, it will be different every single time.

That’s why I thought I would showcase a few food bloggers every month and feature what a good job they’re doing and following and creating recipe ideas…

Yakisoba Edamame Noodles

“Yakisoba is a classic Japanese stir fry dish. Usually made with ordinary wheat noodles, it is a popular street food. The sauce used in Yakisoba is very like our Worcestershire sauce. It can be made from scratch, but I used a ready-made version from Yutaka, along with their green Edamame Soybean Noodles. It’s very easy to make and is really tasty.”

Miso Aubergine Soybean Noodles

“I absolutely love the flavour of miso, which is fermented soybeans. The paste is perfect to stir into rice as well as noodles. I used soybean noodles and soybean-derived tamari sauce for this dish to complement the miso paste.”

Red That Grilled Chicken

“Read in minutes and definitely something different. I love these with salad, although the first time I made them I served them on a bard and we all just dug in, greedily with our fingers.”

Yummy! I would give them a go but I am a terrible cook so they would probably turn out horribly, however, the raspberry and chocolate custard pots don’t seem to difficult so I might have to give them a go just to try and improve my cooking skills (definitely not because they look yummy and I love sweet things but hate the gym!) X

I understand you very well when you say that you don’t follow measurements, I’m the same and I only write them down when I make something that I want to share on my blog: That said, I can’t wait to try and make the 2 noodles’ recipes you shared – they sound amazing!
