Last year was dominated by Green, the Pantone Colour of the Year before being overtaken by Millennial Pink towards the end of 2017. This year Ultra Violet won the title but as we are finally/maybe/hopefully entering spring, it is already being pushed off the pedestal for a very summery colour indeed: Yellow.
Stay with me, I know it is a scary hue.
Big changes are hard to tackle, so I wondered wheather fixing your routine and making small changes to your day can, in turn change your life.
I couldn’t tell you how many times a day I think to myself ‘I’d love to be able to do this or that’, like give up my beloved cups of coffee, but I never really stop and think about the changes I would like to make. Until now.
Here is my pledge, my early New Year Resolutions, my personal goals – call it what you like! Below is how I have begun to change my day.
It wasn’t long ago that I didn’t know how to pronounce the word balayage (bal-ay-arge). Now not only can I tell you all about it, but having had it done I can tell you how much I love it.
I went along to Chapel Place in Islington to have it done by the amazing stylist Daniel Knight.
