I have never visited a place and hated it. I even visited Benidorm, notorious for drunken (often nude and rude) Brits abroad, and found some places to fall in love with, but I did not like the Old Town in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Despite often experiencing anxiety on holiday, ‘slow travel’ wasn’t even in my vocabulary before I went on holiday to Santorini — and it certainly didn’t seem practical.

Do you know what the craziest thing about living in London is? I never go into the city centre. There are so many things to do in London Bridge, but if a visiting tourist asked me for recommendations I don’t know what I would say.

This weekend, however, I spent the day exploring all the things to do in London Bridge and it felt quite wonderful.
Dare I say Gennadi Grand Resort Rhodes is the best hotel I’ve ever been to? It sounds so outlandish and overly complimentary, but I think it might be true.
P and I stayed only for two nights, but we were both blown away at the high standard and lavish luxury we experienced – and the hotel isn’t even complete.
There are so many things to do in Austin that make it an ideal place to enjoy a long weekend, but don’t expect to just kick back and relax.
From shopping on funky South Congress Avenue, to stand-up paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake and seeing live music in one of the many clubs around town, this is the perfect three-day itinerary of things to do in Austin.
